Who’s craving for some treats? Well I do ? , since the sun been so hot lately I think it’s time to look for some treats to beat the heat. My husband and I recently visited one of Gelato Factory’s outlets that located in 66 beach. Gelato factory is an Italian gelato company with several outlets throughout Seminyak and Kuta area.
All their gelatos & sorbets were made from the finest and freshest ingredients with wide variants of flavors. Aside from their gelato and sorbet they also have waffles, crepes, smoothies and popsicles on their menu.
I order one from their menu called Mangia E Bevi, it’s a colorful dessert in a jar consist of fresh fruit salad, vanilla gelato, strawberry and mango sorbet on a bed of blended fresh strawberries topped with whipped cream. I really love their strawberry and mango sorbet, it’s not too sour and it’s made from real fruit. For me, it’s less guilty treats with all the fresh fruits. It’s a perfect treat for a hot sunny day while enjoying the beach view in front of me ?
As for my chocoholic husband, he prefers something chocolaty called Pacciugo. This chocolate treats also served in a jar; start with the waffle at the bottom, with hazelnut, straciatella and chocolate gelato topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and chopped hazelnuts. It’s like sinful treats for that chocoholic haha.. Wherever you dip your spoon you’ll find chocolate everywhere :).
What I like about their gelato is they’re not too sweet for my taste, just nice for me. Paired it with a cup of coffee then it’ll be a perfect bittersweet combo. The place itself was set quite cozy for an afternoon sunset gazing while hanging out with friends.
So what do you think? Are you ready for some treats?
